This year will be no different. We will replace our 30-year old loukamathes machine with a state of the art – full automated – brand new loukamathes machine. We will be purchasing a new dough mixer for pastries and we will be adding cash registers to the remaining stations that currently do not have them.

I am very pleased to announce that PRICE CHOPPER will again, be a major sponsor of Greek Festival 2010. This continued partnership continues to cut expense by receiving donations of food product and printing materials. We are also working on a partnership with a local car dealership—will keep all posted on that progress as it unfolds.

Rides: Our NEW system of ONE-PRICE kiddy-only rides proved to be very successful in ’09. Price Chopper will once again underwrite a portion of these rides to make them profitable. We will be charging a "one time" daily fee of $9 ($7 with a Price Chopper Advantage Card) and the rides will be unlimited for that day’s charge.

Ordering of products: Angelo Bousbouras will order ALL products. For control and pricing reasons—it is the only way to do business. Place your requests of food product and paper supplies with Angelo. Please do not wait until the day of the festival to do so. We need to plan in advance to maximize monies and efforts.

Parking: Parking went well last year. We will again have parking attendants that will assist workers and customers. They will keep lanes free so that traffic flows easily. Please obey them. I will ask that all parishioners park in the CLOSE designated areas that will be assigned on both sides of the tent. Those needing special considerations can call me seven days PRIOR to the festival.
