Lighting The WAY…

 

 

By partaking in this new St. Sophia Tradition the light of the luminarias will heighten your religious experience and make a LIFETIME OF MEMORIES for your family.

"Holy Week Luminarias" - your family’s new Lenten experience!

The Parish Council will be selling Special Luminarias for the Holy Friday Procession.  The cost will be $10 each… supply is limited.

You can inscribe on a card the name of a loved one or your own Lenten prayer, which will be inserted inside the luminarias.  The hymns, your prayers, the lights, all in one concerted voice of praise to the Resurrected Lord, help us find fulfillment in His triumphant Pascha. 

The luminarias will be lit along the sidewalk and walkway as the procession travels around the church.  This new tradition will enhance as well as create a solemn and blessed atmosphere that is the natural wonder of holy week.

Donation proceeds will offset Holy Week Expenses.  Thank you and have a blessed Lent.
