 ARCHIVES & LIBRARY
The following lines are an English translation of the original that was written in Ancient Greek by Homer, in the Odyssey, Book 19. It is from the book, The Wisdom of the Ancient Greeks. The book is available in the Church Archives Library Center

If a man is cruel by nature, cruel in action,
the mortal worlds will call down curses on his head while he is alive,
and all will mock his memory after death.
But if a man is kind by nature, kind in action,
people will carry his fame across the earth
and all will praise him from the heart.

THANK YOU
Thank you so much to Father Pat, Deacon Kosta, and friends for visits to me at St. Peter’s Hospital and many get well wishes with beautiful cards. I am on the mend and hope to see you all soon.
...With love, Catherine Vavura

I want to thank Fr. Pat, the Ladies of Philoptochos, and the St. Sophia family who took time from busy schedules to visit, call, or send cards during my heart surgery hospitalization. It was your prayers and wishes that was part of my recovery. With heartfelt appreciation,....Dolores Docous
